Institute of Outdoor Drama

The Institute of Outdoor Drama is a public service agency of the College of Fine Arts and Communication at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. It is the only organization in the U.S. providing national leadership in fostering artistic and managerial excellence and expansion of the outdoor drama movement through training, research and advisory programs. The Institute serves as a national clearinghouse for more than 75 constituent theatre companies across the nation.

The Institute supports the University’s core values encouraging diversity and equal educational opportunities throughout the University community. These values are articulated in the University’s non-discrimination policy and by the office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs.
